DHC provides accurate gemstone analysis, evaluation which is verifiable online through their own portal.
  2. Bharrat Gem Testing Lab (BGTL): Yet another trusted name in gemstone certification and evaluation, headquarted in Chennai BGTL is also located in Jaipur, covering two major colour gemstone hotspots in India. With a legacy of 27 years, BGTL certificates are valued internationally. BGTL also offers online certificate verification.

Other certifying agencies includes Golconda Institute of Diamonds (Hyderabad) and IGITL (Jaipur).

Apart from this, customers can opt for certifications with few other internationally acclaimed laboratories for which they would be charged on actual cost of certification and transportation. This includes:

All dimensions of gemstones are provided milli meters (mm). Weights are mentioned in carats (also in grams).

  • 1mm = 0.1cm
  • 1mm = 0.39 inche
  • 1 carat = 0.2 gram
  • 1 carat = 0.0071 ounce

Necklace Size Measurement:

Necklace for women ranges from 14 inches (chocker) to 30 inches (long chain) with sizes increasing in 2 inches. Sizes are 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 with standard sizes as 14, 18, 24 and 30.

Chains for men ranges from 18 inches (till collarbone) to 30 inches (below chest). Standard sizes are 18, 20 and 30.

Bracelet Size Measurements:

Bracelet sizes is measurement of your wrist circumference.

  • Small: 6.5 to 7 inches
  • Medium: 7 to 7.5 inches (Most Common)
  • Large: 7.5 to 8 inches
  • XL: 8 to 8.5 inches
  • 2XL: 8.5 to 9 inches
  • 3XL: 9 to 9.5 inches.

Care Instructions

General Instructions:

  1. Gently cold to warm water and mild soap. Opals (except for Australian) should not be exposed to water or moisture.
  2. Most gemstones will get more luster if applied oil from time to time.
  3. Wipe only with soft cotton cloth or micro fiber cloth.
  4. Store gemstones separately in a soft pouch to avoid scratches due to rubbing with other stones or hard surfaces.
  5. Avoid exposure to any type of harsh chemicals, high temperatures and long time exposure to direct sunlight.
  6. Protect from Impact, even though gemstones like sapphires and diamonds are hard materials, high impact may cause chipping of thin edges. Avoid direct impact on hard surfaces.
