Step into the captivating world of fine gemological treasures with this extraordinary Natural Watermelon Tourmaline. Weighing a well-proportioned 1.53 carats, this gemstone displays one of nature’s most iconic and enchanting phenomena—a seamless bi-color transition moving from a warm Red to Green. Sourced from the world-famous pegmatite fields of Brazil, this stone stands as a living masterpiece of Earth's geological history.

The Elbaite Variety & Watermelon Phenomenon: In gemological science, multi-colored and bi-colored tourmalines belong to the Elbaite species. The famous "Watermelon" effect occurs due to a sudden shift in chemical environment while the crystal is forming deep underground over millions of years. A change in trace element concentration—transitioning from manganese (which imparts rich pink and red tones) to iron and titanium (which create lush green hues)—creates a crisp, distinct color boundary within a single continuous crystal structure. Authentic, untreated Brazilian Watermelon tourmalines with distinct color definition and high transparency are prized worldwide by collectors and connoisseurs.

The AAA Rectangle Step Cut Precision: Sculpted into a clean, architectural Rectangle Step Cut, this gemstone features elongated dimensions of 9.7mm x 5.0mm with a sleek 3.2mm depth. Graded at an exceptional AAA Quality, it represents an ideal selection for mid to high-end custom jewelry or a private collection. Its step-cut facets act like clean glass windows, displaying the two distinct color zones with razor-sharp clarity, while delicate natural inclusions serve as proof of its organic, Earth-mined formation. Kept 100% natural and completely untreated, this gem has undergone no heat treatment, irradiation, or clarity enhancements.
